Meet Dr. Aileen Wang, DDS
I love helping people feel happy and beautiful. As an orthodontist, I feel I have a unique opportunity to help you obtain an amazing smile. This makes orthodontics the perfect fit for me, because it allows me to professionally work to make people feel better about their appearance. To me, orthodontics isn’t simply about teeth; it’s about a smile and its impact on that individual.
Education and Continuing Education in Dentistry & Orthodontics
I grew up loving the science and health fields. My dad, a scientist, frequently brought me with him to his lab where I soon found a second home. I have grown up to feel comfortable around the lab environment. My formal education was thorough and equipped me to provide you with quality oral health services.
- Undergraduate studies — University of Texas Business School and University of Houston Pharmacy School
- Doctor of Dental Surgery — University of Texas Dental Branch, Houston
- Orthodontic Residency — University of Texas Dental Branch, Houston
- Certified, American Board of Orthodontics
I feel as though my interest in orthodontics is continuing since receiving my credentials. I eagerly attend annual dental and orthodontic meetings to further my education. As a professional in a constantly developing field like orthodontics, it is absolutely necessary that I stay current with new technologies and skills developed. My goal is to provide you with the best treatments available, and I find that there is always something new to learn.
My main concern is providing you with the best treatment possible in an office and manner that puts you at ease. I view each patient as unique and personalize your care. Furthermore, I want you to feel comfortable and at ease. My team understands this and works with me to maintain a high standard of excellence. We love interacting with new patients and aim to provide the level of care for each of you that we would give to a member of our family.
Outside the Office
I was born in Shanghai, China, but grew up in Houston, Texas, where I have lived for over 20 years now. My husband is currently practicing as a general dentist in the Houston area. In our spare time, we enjoy spending time with our sons, friends, and our chihuahua.
We also love to travel whenever we get the chance. I am very active in the community and like to attend neighborhood activities. I also sponsor events at local schools. Giving back to the community is an important part of being a health care provider.
